Community Service

Though the Kappa Gamma Fraternity is known as a local fraternity under Gallaudet University, our involvement and contributions to the community service is on the level of renowned national/international fraternities in America. We have a cause and that is to serve the community of the world. The active Brothers of the fraternity are dedicated to serve the community of deaf and hearing people inside and on the outskirts of District of Columbia. The Brothers’ immense contributions with the community service do not end with their commencement periods, as countless Brothers continue to serve the world well beyond our college years.

A sampling of the places that we have done our community services in:

– Food & Friends
- Gallaudet University
- Gifts for the Homeless
- H Street Festival
- Literacy for Life
- National Association of the Deaf
- National Marathon
- Theodore Roosevelt Island National Memorial
- Washington Humane Society
